5. Public profiles and user-submitted content

Some Uventora information is intended to be visible to other members or the public.

Profile information, company information, opportunity listings, advertisements, comments, and other content you choose to publish may be visible to other users, search engines, or the public depending on your account settings and the feature involved.

Information you share directly with another member may be saved, copied, forwarded, downloaded, or independently used by that recipient. Uventora cannot control how another person uses information after you intentionally share it with them.

You are responsible for confirming that you have the authority to publish information about a company, project, employee, partner, investor, customer, or other person.

Important: Review opportunity listings, attachments, profile fields, and messages carefully before submitting them.

6. Messaging and communications

Uventora may process communications necessary to deliver and protect its messaging features.

Uventora provides communication tools that allow members to exchange one-to-one messages. Messages are processed and stored so they can be delivered, synchronized, displayed, and maintained within the platform.

Uventora does not use private message content as a public profile. However, authorized personnel or service providers may access communications when necessary to provide support, investigate a report, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce platform rules, comply with law, or protect a person’s safety.

Members should not use Uventora messaging to transmit full payment-card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, banking credentials, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

7. Payments and subscriptions

Payment transactions are processed through third-party payment providers.

When you purchase a subscription, advertisement, digital product, or other paid service, payment information is submitted to Uventora’s payment processor, such as Stripe.

Uventora generally does not receive or store your complete payment-card number. We may receive transaction details such as your billing name, billing contact information, payment status, card type, expiration information, last four digits, transaction identifier, and fraud-prevention results.

Payment processors use your information under their own privacy policies and contractual obligations.

8. Advertising and campaign measurement

Uventora may use information to display, manage, and measure advertisements offered through the platform.

Advertisers do not receive private message contents through ordinary advertising reports. Uventora does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Depending on the technologies used and the law that applies to you, certain advertising or analytics disclosures may be legally treated as targeted advertising, selling, or sharing. Where required, Uventora will provide an applicable opt-out method.

12. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business and legal purposes.

Retention periods depend on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, account status, contractual requirements, legal obligations, dispute-resolution needs, fraud-prevention needs, and platform-security requirements.

Account and profile information may generally be retained while your account remains active. Certain transaction, billing, security, audit, moderation, and legal records may be retained after account closure.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, archived systems, or records retained for legal, fraud-prevention, accounting, or security purposes.
